What Is Covered And How Long Coverage Lasts
Blank Jewelry, LLC d/b/a The Last Line (“The Last Line”) warrants your jewelry purchased directly from The Last Line retail locations or our website (the “Products”) to be free from manufacturing defects (material and/or workmanship) for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, subject to the limitations set forth in this warranty.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty doesn’t cover any problem caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, accident, theft, alteration, unauthorized repair, or improper use, cleaning, or storage. Consequential, indirect, special, punitive, and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty, including, but not limited to, any loss of use. What You Must Do
The Last Line will provide warranty coverage if your warranty claim complies with all terms of this warranty and you follow the return procedure below. If a manufacturing defect is found, The Last Line should be notified promptly by email (to hello@thisisthelast.com). You may also be required to submit digital images of the defects. Inspection by a The Last Line employee or representative may be necessary to verify that a manufacturing defect exists. Shipping and handling fees will be covered for customers based in the USA only. Upon inspection, if the damage is deemed outside of a manufacturing defect, we'll always let you know the price of a repair, if available, before beginning any work on the jewelry.
What The Last Line Will Do
This warranty is limited to repair or replacement on an exchange basis, as selected by The Last Line, in The Last Line’s sole and absolute discretion, of the Product, which upon examination by The Last Line is deemed to have been defective when the Product left the factory. The Last Line may also choose to refund the purchase price, less depreciation, of the Product when, in The Last Line’s sole and absolute discretion, the situation calls for such. If replacement is required in accordance with this warranty and the defective Product has been discontinued or is unavailable, The Last Line reserves the right to select and supply similar Product or offer full credit for the Product; otherwise the same Product will be supplied for replacement.
How State Law Relates To This Warranty
This warranty is governed by California law without regard to conflicts of law principles. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS GIVEN AND ACCEPTED IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND REPRESENTATIONS, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR TRADE USAGE, AND THE REMEDIES OF THE BUYER SHALL BE LIMITED TO THOSE PROVIDED HEREIN. Some states do not allow limitations as set forth above, so the above limitation may not apply to you. The total cumulative liability to The Last Line, from all causes of action and all theories of liability, will be limited to and will not exceed the purchase price of the Product paid by you.
