Yes, all of the gold that is used in our cast designs is 100% recycled.

Our diamonds are SI and G/H in clarity and color.

Yes, we only use 100% conflict free diamonds from suppliers and manufactures that are certified by the Responsible Jewelry Council.

Yes, all of the stones that we use are natural stones. We do not use synthetic material or laboratory grown stones.

We source our gemstones from a variety of locations depending on the design of the piece. We hand select many stones just steps from the office, custom carve others in downtown Los Angeles, and source stones throughout the U.S. and overseas. We purchase our gemstones and diamonds from RJC certified suppliers, and they are conflict free and ethically sourced.

Every factory we use has been inspected by either the Responsible Jewelry Council or a member of The Last Line to ensure that the working conditions are safe, that the employees are treated ethically, and all employees are adults and compensated fairly.

We go to great lengths to work with vendors that only use 100% nickel free alloys to manufacture our products. To ensure this, they conduct random testing to guarantee that our standards are being maintained.

Please check the measurements on the product page for the most accurate information. Here are some general tips: our tiny huggie is a good fit for a 3rd or 4th lobe piercing but will be too snug on most other piercings. Our small huggie will fit many 2nd and 3rd piercings and may be quite snug on a first piercing or cartilage piercing. Our medium huggie is a good size for a comfortable snug fit on many 1st piercings and cartilage or upper ear piercings. Our large huggie will fit most cartilage piercings and is a great option for first piercings if you are looking for a traditional fit.

The only maintenance your TLL jewelry needs is a gentle cleansing with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive jewelry wash. Make sure to keep away from harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners. 

Take caution when allowing your jewelry to come in contact with harsh chemicals that can be found in some everyday products such as lotions, hair products, perfumes, and sanitizers.

We know it’s hard to say good night, but we don’t recommend sleeping in your TLL jewelry. So it’s best to tuck them into their TLL Ballerina Jewelry Box for their beauty rest.

Our jewelry is designed for everyday wear and is 14k gold, so showering won't harm the jewelry, but it can reduce the shine so we don’t recommend it. Some tap water can even have a high chemical content, so it’s best to keep your jewelry dry and away from abrasive surfaces or harsh chemicals. And now that you’re out of the shower, it’s also good to keep in mind that softer stones and enamel should stay away from hair dryers and high heat.

We recommend removing your TLL beauties before taking a dip. Some chemicals such as chlorine can be harsh and cause negative reactions on certain precious and semi- precious stones. So make sure to safely store your jewelry before going swimming to keep your stones shining bright and their color vibrant for a lifetime.

Yes! Please contact hello@thisisthelast.com for engraving on pieces where it is not noted on the product page. We are happy to try to execute anything you can dream up. We’re happy to offer custom sizing for select styles. Please reach out to our customer service team for clarity on which styles are alterable. All custom orders take approximately 10-14 business days to complete.

Yes! We can size most TLL rings. Please reach out to hello@thisisthelast.com with any custom sizing requests. All custom orders take approximately 7-14 business days to complete.

Yes! Piercing is available all day in our Beverly Hills Piercing Parlor and coming soon to NYC! Our TLL piercer pierces with a selection of 14k gold studs we convert to safe piercing studs from our collection.

Please allow a minimum of 14 business days to complete all custom orders.

Just like any object we use lovingly, there may be the occasional need for maintenance or repair for your jewelry every now and then to keep it like new. We are pleased to offer repairs on TLL jewelry. Email hello@thisisthelast.com with your name, order number, a few photos of the item from different angles, and a brief description of the repair issue. Once you have submitted a repair request, please allow 5 business days after receipt of tracking confirmation and 14 business days to complete the repair.

Orders are generally processed within 3 business days. All domestic jewelry orders are shipped FedEx 2day. All Party orders are shipped via FedEx Ground and usually arrive within 3-6 business days. If purchasing party linens only, they will be shipped via FedEx 2day. We will reach out with tracking information as soon as your order is on its way!

Any package containing jewelry is insured and requires a signature upon delivery. Please be sure to follow your tracking information and have someone available to sign for your package for successful delivery. We are not responsible for items once they have been signed for and delivered to the address provided at checkout. Please reach out to the shipping carrier with any questions regarding delivery.

Signature is not required for Party items.

We are happy to remove the signature requirement but we are not responsible if theft, damage, or loss occurs. Please email hello@thisisthelast.com when ordering to remove the signature requirement. Signature requirements can not be removed from packages once they are in the possession of the shipping carrier.

You have the option to pay for your duties/tax at checkout or upon delivery.

If you are not 100% satisfied with your TLL jewelry, we want to help you find your perfect fit. You can exchange your items for store credit only within 7 days of receipt with all original packaging and TLL concierge will help you find replacements(s). 

We have an exchange only policy. Please view our full exchange policy here. For domestic returns please access our exchange portal.

For all orders we will pay the new domestic shipping costs to send your new item(s) to you on the first exchange only. For subsequent exchanges there will be no free shipping of the newly exchanged items to you and our charges for the shipping expenses and insurance for you to receive the new item(s) will then be charged to you and/or subtracted from the exchange credits. For all jewelry item(s) we will charge/deduct $35 for shipping and for all party orders we will deduct $50 dollars for shipping.

Our piercing earrings start at $165 and are sold individually. The cost of the piercing service is included in the pricing of the piercing earring you select during your appointment. Check out our options here!

All of our tools and piercing earrings are sanitized. Sterile gloves and single-use materials are used in all of our piercing procedures to ensure optimal safety and sterility.

We have both options available! You can schedule an appointment by emailing hello@thisisthelast.com. We’re available for piercing Wednesday - Sunday. 

The entire piercing process takes between 15-30 minutes.

All post piercing earrings have implant grade steel threadless backings to ensure maximum comfort and safety. Piercing hoops and huggies have 14k gold posts only.

You are more than welcome to get as many piercings as you wish! The more the merrier!

You can get pierced most locations on your ear (lobe, conch, helix, tragus, cartilage, etc) however, exact positioning will depend on individual anatomy.

We recommend rinsing your piercing with sterile saline wound wash 1-2 times a day, and with clean water in the shower. Avoid moving or sleeping directly on the jewelry and leave it alone as much as possible

We pierce 8-year-olds and up with parental consent, proper ID and a Birth Certificate. Parents or legal guardians of minors must provide photo ID, a Birth Certificate, and official documents linking them as minor and guardian.

We do pop up events and piercing parties all over the US (and sometimes internationally). We recommend signing up for our newsletter on our homepage to stay in the know for upcoming events and updates!

We only pierce with sterile threadless piercing earrings and cannot pierce with anything else to ensure maximum comfort and safety of the piercing.

We have multiple photos for each item on our product pages. Our photos depict the craftsmanship and details of our pieces. Because all of our stones are natural, the hue of the stone will vary from time to time.
